The Pelican Bay

So this was the casting! I put the alginate on, then covered it in modrock and plaster to support it. Wait wait wait for that to dry, then peel it off... the clay messed up the back of the originals, and the alginate messed up the front, so I'm going to have to do some repair work before the exhibition. Then plaster was poured into the moulds, and removed about half an hour later, which was difficult and I split the alginates, foo. The best part was fixing up the plasters, it's so yummy to work with. Anyway now they're drying, and soon I'm going to take another alginate from these so I can have a spare in case the thermo forming goes awry...
